KELLY'S STYLE ICONS

The best aspect of working in the fashion business is working in an area that I have been interested in all my life. One of my earliest memories was watching my very glamourous Mum getting ready for a ball. It was the 60's and she had here blonde hair piled up in an intricate bun and was putting on a ivory and gold silk floor length gown with gold sandals. I was in awe! I have been incredibly lucky in my career. From my early days as a model in Scotland (which often meant bring your own clothes and accessories!) to working as a stylist in New York on celebrity cover stories for Red magazine. I'll never forget checking into the Hudson Hotel NYC and the outrageously handsome bell boy bringing me bags and bags of divine clothing from Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein etc... And I was getting paid for it! Of course, like Cinderella, they all had to be sent back after the shoot.
