SPRING CLEAN YOUR LIFE

Did you know you should change what you eat and how you exercise depending on the season? The time of year will also affect what you do and what you think.  To be in balance, match nature with its attitude and energy. Try these simple tips and see what difference it makes.

Food:

Right now you should be eating fresh new spring greens or crunchy stir-fries. Buy locally grown, organic (if possible) fresh food, and fill your body with that new energy.

Action:

Detox is the word! If possible, have a cleaner approach to life for a couple of weeks; make a plan, give yourself a goal, and stick to it. Cut out coffee, tea, and alcohol for at least a few days, or if possible, a month. Use water - hot or cold - to replace the 'nasty' drinks in your daily routine. You can make cold water more interesting by adding cucumber or mint. Mint or fennel tea is a good hot drink alternative.

Spring clean

Out with the old, in with the new.  Spring clean your wardrobe, your house, your finances... your life!

Vision:

Where are you going in life? This is a great time of year to set new goals and put them into action. Seize the moment and start a new you today!

Exercise:

Julie Hansen

For spring, start a weight training programme, focusing on muscles and joints. In good spring weather, get outside - walking, cycling or jogging. Early morning exercise if great for your liver, so throw off the sheets and get out of bed! Why not try a new sport - shadow boxing or something competitive?

Finally, when you get a moment, why not run the following thoughts through your mind...

  • Is there an area in your life or body which is stuck, going nowhere, or simply out of sorts?
  • Detox? Simply drink more, fresh, clean water to feel the benefits straight away
  • Say to yourself 'I FEEL CALM, CONFIDENT, AND ABLE TO PLAN AND ORGANISE MY LIFE' 3 times a day
  • Keep the following keywords at the front of your mind: EVOLUTION, ADAPTATION, PURPOSE, FORESIGHT, and ADAPTABILIY

Much Love,
